Q: |
Why is a
shower needed for a swimming
pool? |
|
A: |
There is a national health
issue with many documented cases of bacterial infections at public pools
and water parks throughout the world. Therefore a Shower is a much needed
item for pool areas in order to keep our loved ones safe. |
| |
|
|
Q: |
What is the advantage of
showering before entering a pool? |
|
A: |
Besides washing away
bacteria, one can also remove lint, dirt, sand, or other debris which
helps keep the pool water cleaner and easier to maintain. |
| |
|
|
Q: |
Why do you make your
showers out of stainless steel when other materials are less expensive? |
|
A: |
Stainless steel contains
nickel and will not corrode or rust in salt water and chlorine
environments. Galvanized steel will rust; brass becomes discolored;
plastic is easily discolored and broken. Our main goal in making pool
showers is to make a product that surpasses other pool showers in quality,
and will endure for years in harsh environments. |

Q: |
Why do you offer two types
of valves? |
|
A: |
Residential vs. Commercial.
The On/off Cross Handle valve (CHV following the
part #) is appropriate for residential use. It is simply turned on
and off as needed.
The American Disability Act (ADA) compliant valve is required in
commercial and public areas. The cycle times are easily adjusted, allowing
it to meet ADA regulations which require 10 seconds running time for the
water flow. |

|
|
Q: |
Why
can't I use the Hose Bibb as a foot shower (or foot spray)? |
|
A: |
The hose bibb is located
at the lowest portion of the shower, offset to the side. It is
typically used to fill a bucket of water when needed.
The foot shower is located 32" high off the decking. This makes it
easier for the bathers to rinse off their feet (and lower legs, etc.) if
they want. The hose bib would be too low to do this. |

|
Q: |
What's the difference
between a Wall Mounted vs. a Post-Mounted Shower? |
|
A: |
A wall-mounted shower (and
a post-mounted shower) are essentially the same. Both have 3
brackets that slide up and down the vertical stem of the shower. In
other words, it can mount to a wall or a post thru these brackets.
Hardware included. |

|
|
Q: |
Where is the
water inlet
on the Free-Standing Shower? |
|
A: |
It's not obvious, but the
1/2" inlet for the free-standing shower is Above Grade, (Above the deck)
at the bottom of the shower. The round "bubble" at the bottom is an
escutcheon plate that hides the water inlet. |

|
|

Is the water temperature

well. As of June 2005, there is a floor-mounted, and a
wall-mounted
